In Morthal? Not a bad town. What were you doing there? *grins*

Making a stop. Asking about vampires. *nods* For our work.

Asking who?

idris-the-elder replied to your post: *sits down next to you* Hey there, little sister.

*pats your back* What’s got you so happy, hm?

*shrugs* Always happy to see you, sister.

*raises an eyebrow* Is that right? I don’t think very many people share that sentiment. Well…*rubs her chin* I suppose some.

Quite right… wait a minute. Some?

*bristles* Well, I mean, I just recently got back and I was…in Morthal and…

In Morthal? Not a bad town. What were you doing there? *grins*

His voice came as nothing more than an echo, somehow permeating through her docile state. Tingling. Concentrate. Get away. Those were the only things she was able to pick up without losing what focus she had. Anything, he had said. Anything could mean anything. That was the point, she gathered. An odd feeling began to rise up in her the deeper and deeper she fell into her consciousness.

That’s… interesting.

Ioannes felt the air in the room get tight and prickly with magic. “Good,” he breathed, she had succeeded. Fast, too. A fine learner, even if she seemed strangely reluctant. She would do well enough, if she was willing, and most importantly, if she kept up this practice of meditation.

She wasn’t sure what to do. This was unfamiliar and slightly alarming. Kria shared her body with a massive and powerful wolf spirit, and to think that this foreign energy discomforted her? It was a remarkable energy indeed. Never before had she felt something this extraordinary, a power that had lain dormant all her life and had been itching to be awoken. A bear in hibernation just dying to wake up. But what was one to do with an aura of this magnitude? Especially if one had never experienced or witnessed one of their own.

Okay, you silly mer. Feeling a little lost here. Some direction would be nice.

lion-and-commander:

[A quiet hiss, and he slams the shovel into the ground a little harder this time] No. I have a plan… Sort of. Of course we can’t just waltz in- I won’ave you dying too. I ‘aven’t ever been in there, myself, so it’s not like I already know the place. Right now though, we ned to get this over with and ride for the Embassy as fast as we can- we can figure out a real plan on the way.

*She grunts as she plows her shovels into the snow faster and faster* Well, hurry up then. We’ve got places to go. Girls to save. Thalmor to avoid and, perhaps, kill.
